The Portuguese Institute of the Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA) updated the yellow warning for periods of rain or persistent showers, locally strong and accompanied by thunderstorms, also placing the North Coast on alert.
As is planned for the South Coast and Mountainous Regions, the North Coast will also be under warning between 6:25 am and 3 pm today.
