Alert is in effect between 2am and 5pm on Sunday, October 29th
The first of the weather warnings is issued for Sunday.
The Portuguese Institute of the Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA) issued a yellow warning for the islands of Madeira and Porto Santo due to precipitation forecasts.
The warning for rain, which is “sometimes heavy”, will be in effect between 2am and 5pm on Sunday, October 29th, across the entire island of Madeira (North and South coast, as well as mountainous regions) and Porto Santo.
Updates will be put on my blog, as we will know more on Saturday, and how much rain might fall.
