Madeiran Nuno Pereira, who represents Sporting, won the 64th São Silvestre do Funchal today with a time of 0:17:24, getting the better of his teammate, Miguel Marques (0:17:38). The podium was closed by another Madeiran, Edwin Nunes (0:17:50), from CCDT Horários do Funchal.
In the women’s race, Ana Marinho, an athlete from CD São Salvador do Campo, was the fastest with a time of 0:19:53.
The 2nd and 3rd places were won by Rita Figueiredo (GD Estreito) and Joana Soares (ACD Jardim da Serra), with times of 0:20:05 and 0:20:14, respectively.
