The ships ‘Queen Victoria, ‘Mein Schiff 1’ ‘Arcadia’ and ‘Borealis’ are already in the port of Funchal or offshore, where they will remain to watch the great New Year’s Eve spectacle. Some passengers have already disembarked on board ferries , namely ‘Mein Schiff 1’, so they can get to know the island while the ship waits offshore.
The ‘Spirit of Adventure’ is also about to arrive, which will remain on the North pier, next to Praça CR7 to watch the great fireworks show.
The ‘Marella Explorer’ only arrives later, around 5pm, as does the ‘AIDAcosma’, which is only expected to arrive off Madeira at 10pm, where it will remain until the end of the pyrotechnic display. ‘Mein Schiff 3’ should also arrive around the same time.
