This marine mammal was seen about a mile off the coast and made several ‘jumps’ that delighted tourists who were on board the maritime tourist vessel ‘Magic Dolphin’.
This whale can reach 16 meters in length and weigh up to 40 tons and its sightings are most common in the Azores archipelago and also in places such as Cape Verde and the Caribbean.
