Miguel Albuquerque was, this evening, re-elected president of PSD-Madeira.
The president of the Social Democrats won with a total of 2,244 votes (54.3%), against the 1,856 (44.9%) achieved by Manuel António Correia.
Of the 11 municipalities in the Autonomous Region of Madeira, Miguel Albuquerque won in nine, with Manuel António Correia winning in Câmara de Lobos and Funchal.
Of the 4,388 activists with paid fees, 4,132 voters were counted this evening, 18 invalid votes and 15 blank votes.
