The Municipal Firefighters of Machico were alerted, around 4:00 pm, to a fall at Ponta de São Lourenço which, apparently, involved another tourist.
This is a 50-year-old man who suffered a fall while walking.
Four members of the corporation are mobilized, as well as a team from SANAS. They are already with the victim, who has a fracture of one of his lower limbs.
The victim is on his way to Cais do Sardinha, where a SANAS vessel is ready to transport the man to the Quinta do Lorde marina, where an ambulance from the Municipal Firefighters of Machico is also waiting.
The user must be referred to the local Health Center.
