The 37-year-old tourist who was lost last night in Vale da Lapa, in São Jorge, Santana, was found at 2 am by the Madeira Volunteer Firefighters Mountain Rescue Team.
The corporation mobilized 11 members of the rescue team, as well as two vehicles to the location, after receiving the alert at 9:30 pm this Sunday.
The man, who was disoriented, did not, however, present any type of injury.
