British Airways plane bound for Madeira declares emergency on board

The British Airways A320 airbus bound for Madeira recently declared an emergency on board and is returning to London’s Heathrow airport.

The pilot reported ‘Code 7700’, which is reserved for serious problems on board the aircraft, 10 minutes after taking off.

The plane was at 17 thousand feet.

Although it has not yet been possible to determine what caused the emergency, flight BA520, which was flying over the south of England, was scheduled to arrive at Madeira Airport at 1:20 pm.
