Chega maintains that it only makes government viable without Albuquerque

Miguel Castro has just reaffirmed that a PSD Regional Government can only be made viable without Miguel Albuquerque.

Upon entering a meeting in the main hall of the Regional Government, requested by the Albuquerque executive, to try to find a way to make the Government Program viable, the leader of Chega Madeira voted to reaffirm his party’s last position.

Miguel Castro also rejected that the change of position, stated today by the Representative of the Republic, Ireneu Barreto, was by Chega. Something that contradicts what happened, when, upon leaving the meeting with the Representative of the Republic, he said that a left-wing government was unfeasible and that if it weren’t for Chega there would be no Government.

Present at the meeting are Jorge Carvalho, number two in the Government, who presides, the Secretary of Finance, Rogério Gouveia, the chief of staff of Albuquerque, Rui Abreu, and the representatives of Chega, CDS, IL, PAN and PSD, the latter represented by Jaime Filipe Ramos.
