Two vehicles for scrap and a huge scare was what happened this afternoon, in the parking lot of the Anadia Shopping Center, in Funchal.
A car accident in a commercial parking lot almost completely destroyed two vehicles. An eyewitness revealed to JM that the impact of the vehicle on a wall in the parking lot was so great that many of the traders and passersby in the area thought a bomb had exploded.
According to the same eyewitness, a vehicle was entering the CC Anadia parking lot, on the Rua Fernão Ornelas and Rua do Ribeirinho side, when it suddenly knocked down the barrier and collided violently with the wall in front of the entrance.
The impact with the wall was so strong that it ended up making a hole in the wall and hitting another vehicle that was parked. Both cars have extensive material damage.
Damage to the building is also significant to a wall.
Despite the accident, there were no injuries.
