IFCN calls for the collaboration of ‘rally fans’ to ensure correct disposal of rubbish in the mountains

The Forestry and Conservation Institute appeals to all those who are going to the mountains these days to help dispose of their rubbish correctly in the appropriate places and to respect safety regulations. With the rally taking place, many people are choosing to spend their days in the mountains.

According to the president of the Institute, Manuel Filipe, it is important that people follow the authorities’ instructions and pay attention to the rubbish that should be deposited in the correct places.

According to the director, it is normal that there are no more camping licenses at this time due to the management of the forest area itself.

“We cannot grant licenses to everyone because there is a management of the forest space that must be respected,” stated Manuel Filipe, adding that if there is a person who has requested a license but for some reason cannot go camping, they should inform the IFCN so that it can be granted to another person.
