The coastal patrol vessel NRP Tejo arrives this Friday, August 9, in the Autonomous Region of Madeira where it will carry out missions within the scope of safeguarding human life at sea, patrolling and monitoring maritime spaces, thus contributing to the fulfillment of the State’s security and authority functions at sea.
The NRP Tejo is commanded by First Lieutenant Vasco Manuel Gonçalves Lopes Pires and has a garrison of 20 soldiers.
