The new Central and University Hospital of Madeira, currently under construction in Santa Rita, is expected to open in 2029.
The date was announced this afternoon by the Minister of Infrastructure during a visit to the construction site.
Miguel Pinto Luz praised the work, saying it was fantastic and designed for the future.
