Two of the three new cases are from Madeira, one resident in Funchal and the other in the municipality of Santa Cruz. The other case is a tourist from the UK.
This Wednesday there were still six new cases recovered, with 44 now active cases of infection.
Of the 44 cases, 31 are imported and 13 are locally transmitted, IASaúde said.
