Today there are 15 new positive cases of covid-19 to report. These are seven cases imported from the United Kingdom and eight cases of local transmission, most of which are already associated with previously identified contacts or contexts of positive cases.
One of the cases is of an adult with professional activity in an educational establishment in the municipality of Funchal. Another case concerns an ISSM professional, IP-RAM, who also works in the municipality of Funchal.
In total, there are 143 new situations that are currently being studied by the health authorities, all related to contacts with positive cases, situations reported to the SRS24 line or by SESARAM, EPERAM. Epidemiological investigations are ongoing.
