Today, the draw took place for the seasonal fruit sales stalls in Funchal. The draw, which took place at the premises of the Funchal City Council, in Building 2000, was attended by councilor João Rodrigues, with 15 spaces being auctioned in competition between 21 competitors.
The fruit selling season starts on June 1st, therefore on Saturday and continues until December 31st, with the following locations:
Avenida Arriaga, Rua Dr. Brito Câmara, Rua dos Aranhas, Avenida Zarco/Avenida Arriaga, Avenida do Mar – Cas do Turista – Largo do Phelps, Rua Dr. Fernão de Ornelas – Jacintos, Avenida do Mar – Alfândega, Rua da Casa da Luz/Rua dos Profetas, Avenida do Mar – Rua Artur Sousa Pinga, Rua Arcipreste – Rua Latino Coelho, Estrada Monumental – Hotel Vidamar, Estrada Monumental – Após Jardins Panorâmicos, Avenida Luís Camões – Bairro do Hospital e Caminho de São Martinho – Tourigalo.
It should be noted that the opening hours of these stalls will be between 07:00 and 21:00, for seasonal fruit products.
