Fall at the Véu da Noiva

A tourist aged around 40 fell this afternoon from a height of approximately seven meters, on the Véu da Noiva path, in Porto Moniz.

The victim fell on an unrecommended route and was rescued by six members of the São Vicente and Porto Moniz Volunteer Firefighters mountain rescue team, who were on site with a nature watchman and a forest police officer.

The woman, who had a suspected fracture in her arm, was two kilometers from the main road.
