Albuquerque announces change to free up Sunday for municipal parades.
The President of the Regional Government, Miguel Albuquerque, announced this Sunday, on the sidelines of the Flower Parade, that the 2027 Carnival parades will take place on Friday and Saturday.
As he explained, the change will “free up Sundays for the municipal parades.”
The second part of the Flower Parade took place a short while ago, bri g lots of colour to Funchal once again, and much better weather.
