French Cuisine

A reader has recommend a nice little restaurant / snack bar in Funchal.
The French chef  and owner is Philippe Gaillard, and they do a great selection of dishes and plate of the day.
The restaurant is in a small cul-de-sac off Praça do Carmo in Funchal, It has inside and outside dining, and because of the sheltered location it is possible to eat outside nearly all year round.
Prices are reasonable with good quality cooking and excellent sauces.
My reader highly recommends it, they had liver and bacon which was simply delicious.
