Speaking to JMFM radio, the Mayor of Calheta admits that the fire is of criminal origin.
Carlos Teles was talking to JMFM radio this morning after almost 48 hours of fire in the parish of Ponta do Pargo.
At the moment there is only one active front, but it continues to worry the firefighters of several corporations that during the past few hours have given support in fighting fires.
