Today there are 7 new positive cases to report, so RAM now counts 277 confirmed cases of covid-19 in the regional territory. These are 7 imported cases, 5 from Venezuela, 1 from the Lisbon and Tagus Valley Region, and 1 from the Central Portugal Region.
There are no new recovered cases to report. The region continues to account for 186 recovered cases of covid-19.
There are eight suspected cases under study.
Thus, the Region now has 91 active cases, of which 84 are imported and identified in the context of surveillance activities implemented at Madeira Airport and seven are for local transmission.
