Today Madeira has 38 new cases of covid-19, of which 26 are locally transmitted and 12 are imported.
According to the epidemiological bulletin of IASaúde, the new imported cases come from the United Kingdom (eight), the Czech Republic, Switzerland, Angola and the Lisbon and Tagus Valley region.
On this 24th of December, 10 more recovered cases should be highlighted, so the Region now counts 951 recoveries from the disease.
There are currently 419 active cases, of which 120 are imported cases and 299 are locally transmitted.
