One of the 29 new cases of covid-19 today concerns a health professional, working at SESARAM, EPERAM. The contingency plan for the respective service is active and the epidemiological investigation is ongoing.
Regarding the cases confirmed today, there are still five cases in the area of education: five children, aged between 8 and 15 years, who attend educational establishments in the municipality of Funchal, Machico and Santa Cruz. The contingency plan for these establishments is already active.
There are also five cases in the social area: a professional assigned to the ISSM, IP-RAM, working in the municipality of Santa Cruz, an employee of a private social equipment in the municipality of Funchal and three people working in a community institution of a social nature in the municipality from Funchal. The contingency plans of the respective institutions are active and epidemiological investigation is ongoing.
