AFTER ‘CLEMENT’ COMES ‘DORA’. MADEIRA HAS ORANGE WARNING THIS WEEK

As of today and at least until Sunday, some districts of mainland Portugal and the archipelago of Madeira will have various weather warnings due to sea agitation, wind and snowfall, in a phased manner, due to the passage of the Dora depression, reported today the IPMA

The most serious situation will emerge on Friday, when the entire coast of mainland Portugal, northern Madeira and Porto Santo will be under orange warning due to the forecast of strong maritime unrest.

On the north coast of Madeira and Porto Santo they will have the orange warning, between 03:00 on this Saturday (5th) and 05:00 on Sunday (6th), due to the state of the sea, forecasting waves from the north with 5 to 6 meters.
