An 87 year old woman died of covid. It is the seventh death in the Region by the virus that is leaving deep marks in the world.
“On December 16, a patient, 87 years old, with covid-19 died at Dr. Nélio Mendonça Hospital”, says the note issued moments ago by the Regional Health Service.
The patient had been admitted to the Unit dedicated to covid-19 since December 3 and had several underlying conditions.
“To the bereaved family”, the Regional Secretariat for Health and Civil Protection “presents heartfelt condolences”.
