Today there are 20 new positive cases, eight imported (five from the United Kingdom, one from Poland and two from the Lisbon and Tagus Valley region) and 12 cases of local transmission, associated with contacts or contexts of previously identified positive cases.
Three cases are in the health area, namely two hospitalized patients identified within the scope of intra-hospital screening of patients and a health professional from SESARAM, EPERAM, with contact with positive cases.
One case is that of a security forces professional, associated with the case previously identified.
Today there are eight more recovered cases and the Region now counts 1,059 confirmed cases, of which 293 are active: 64 are imported cases and 229 are cases of local transmission.
