“Since the 20th of February, I have been alerting this to the Chamber and the Parish Council and Dr. Albuquerque is aware of all this,” said José Costa, resident in Porto da Cruz, following the collapse of a road due to the intense rain that has been felt in recent days.
“But it’s the same thing, Dr. Albuquerque told me that it was not his responsibility but that what he could do he did. He came here a year ago to lay a patch to plug the holes while the problem was not resolved by the Chamber” , added the resident, visibly upset.
