The Municipal Operational Coordination Center (CCOM) met at the Salão Nobre dos Paços in the municipality of Câmara de Lobos, raising the level of Municipal alert to orange.
According to a statement from the municipality, the municipal management platform of Covid-19 was also presented, which intends to integrate, in real-time, all information related to the pandemic situation in the municipality.
The platform is being developed by the Municipal Civil Protection Service and centralizes all available information in an articulated manner. The information platform is based on two situation management mechanisms.
This will allow, believes the municipality, “an allocation of resources optimized according to the evolution of the number of cases in the municipality”. “With this geographic information system, the purpose is to collaborate with entities in the definition and evolution of transmission chains in the municipality, allowing, if necessary, to reinforce the hygiene of public spaces according to the prevalence of the number of cases in a given area. “; he adds.
Another virtue of this platform is related to the possibility of activating social responses quickly, in terms of food and medication support to the families in confinement, without a family support network. At this time the municipality is already supporting households, whose residents have tested positive, with the supply of food.
According to Mayor Pedro Coelho “The management and planning of any event is based on access to information”.
“Given the situation of poor coverage of the internet network in the Health Center of Câmara de Lobos, and with a view to supporting the teams that are currently doing a great job, the municipality will allocate one of the Wi-Fi access points. of the municipal network, in the referred center, in order to guarantee the easiness of communication between the involved entities “, adds the same note.
During the CCOM meeting, the Municipal alert was also raised to orange level, and another of the issues addressed was the issue of strengthening patrolling by the PSP in the municipality in order to prevent gatherings in commercial establishments, contrary to rules in force.
It was the guarantee of the Mayor of the Municipality that in case of a situation of non-compliance, the municipality of Câmara de Lobos will not hesitate to temporarily suspend operating licenses.
