The president of the Regional Government, Miguel Albuquerque, visited this afternoon the two floors of the Hospital dos Marmeleiros that are being prepared for the eventuality of having to admit more patients with covid 19.
The increase in cases led the Government to find more spaces in other health units.
It should be noted that the Dr. Nélio Mendonça Hospital has a capacity for just over 100 beds. Marmeleiros now has 72 available.
