Along the stretch between the parishes of Paul do Mar and Fajã da Ovelha, several landslides took place during this night. The biggest collapse occurred just before the first tunnel that descends to Paul do Mar, where the Calheta Volunteer Firefighters team is cleaning the road. Throughout the night the rains were intense in the west and it still rains.
According to the information given by the Calheta Firefighters, the road is now passable and the regional road directorate will carry out the remaining cleaning along the route.
