The Art Center Caravel, an arts center located in the old part of Funchal, saw part of the roof collapse, after the heavy rain that fell since Saturday, in Funchal.
Those responsible also indicate that the water reached two floors of the building, but even so they managed to save the paintings and other works that were on display. The gallery is forced to close until the damage is repaired and security is restored on site.
