Today Madeira has 20 new cases of infection with the new coronavirus SARS-CoV-2.
According to the epidemiological bulletin released by the Regional Health Directorate, these are two cases imported from Poland and 18 cases of local transmission.
Today there are 14 more recovered cases to report, with the Region now accounting for a total of 8,282 recovered cases.
Thus, there are now 314 active cases, of which 22 are imported cases and 292 are locally transmitted.
