Madeira currently registers 30 new cases of SARS-CoV-2 infection in RAM, so the region now counts 8647 confirmed cases of COVID-19.
These are 7 imported cases (2 from Poland and 5 from the Lisbon and Tagus Valley Region) and 23 cases of local transmission, “most of them already associated with positive case contacts. Epidemiological investigations are ongoing”.
According to the Regional Health Directorate’s Bulletin, there are now 29 more recovered cases to report, with 308 being active cases, of which 20 are imported cases and 288 are locally transmitted.
