AT THE END OF TODAY, 50 THOUSAND DOSES OF THE VACCINE WILL HAVE BEEN ADMINISTERED IN MADEIRA

By the end of this Monday, the Autonomous Region of Madeira will have administered 50 thousand doses of the vaccine against covid-19, revealed Pedro Ramos who was this morning at the Francisco Franco pavilion to accompany the beginning of the testing of the students.

“With the vaccines administered today at Madeira Tecnopolo, there are about 1,200 teachers, we will exceed the 50,000 doses administered in Madeira”, revealed the regional secretary of Health, adding that “it will correspond to about 12/13% of what concerns at the first dose and almost 7% concerns the total of the two doses administered ”.

The secretary responsible for health also said that the prospects “are extremely encouraging”.

“There are more vaccines available. In the first quarter, we received approximately 49,000 vaccines between Pfizer and Astrazeneca. During the month of April we will receive more vaccines than in the previous quarter, about 59 thousand vaccines and then between May and June we will receive vaccines from Pfizer from Astrazeneca and also from Johnson & Johnson and this will result in a much higher number than the 200 thousand vaccines in Region ”, added Pedro Ramos.
