Easter Sunday with sun did not captivate bathers in Porto Santo

Today, Porto Santo lives a different Easter, without the usual tourists who once filled the island for Easter mini-vacations.

This time, due to the pandemic, few tourists have traveled to the Golden Island, with the exception of some Madeirans and continentals who have homes on the island.

Hotels opened at this time of the year have a small percentage of stays and anticipate complicated days going forward.

On this Easter Sunday, Porto Santo registers a lovely day, on a magnificent beach but does not register much demand.

The island desperately needs tourism, not just relying on Madeirans and mainland Portugal, as was the case last summer.
