Madeiran photographer Miguel Ponte was distinguished by the Federation of European Professional Photographers (FEP) at the FEP Awards, as the European photographer of the year in the Wedding category.
Miguel Ponte won the ‘Golden Camera’ – the one that corresponds to the first place – in the ‘Wedding’ category of that international competition, which this year had its biggest edition ever, with regard to the number of participants and photographs submitted. The organization received more than 2,600 images, from more than 300 photographers from 25 different countries.
The results of the competition were announced last Sunday, in a ceremony that took place online for the second consecutive year.
