Regional Government keeps curfew until the 26th and guarantees tests in pharmacies

The Regional Government decided to extend the health control and mandatory collection measures until 23:59 on April 26th, but decided to streamline the procedures related to visits by family members to the homes.

The Government Council decided that “the provision of TRAg testing services for SARS-CoV-2 be guaranteed by the Institute of Health Administration, IP-RAM, to citizens residing in RAM who request that such tests be carried out in pharmacies in the Region, under the conditions and in accordance with the contract to be concluded with the provider “.

This measure includes “all pharmacies in the territory of the Autonomous Region of Madeira that adhere to the performance of testing by TRAg, for SARS-CoV-2”.

The resolution that regulates the financial contribution to be attributed to SESARAM was changed, for “combating the pandemic caused by COVID-19”, which is strengthened to 123,014,100.00 euros, instead of 117,611,500 euros.

An amendment aimed at “tackling the increased acquisition of essential equipment, goods and services, as well as the adaptation of specific facilities and measures in the area of ​​human resources, alongside the installation of vaccination centers”.

The Regional Government decided to support the candidacy of the city of Funchal as the European Capital of Culture 2027, participating in the various initiatives of the city of Funchal for this candidacy, according to a program of activities that should be coordinated with the Regional Government and mandate the Regional Secretary of Tourism and Culture to be the interlocutor between the Regional Government and the Municipality of Funchal.

The Regional Secretariat for Social Inclusion and Citizenship was responsible for organizing the celebrations of “Labor Day” and “Day of the Autonomous Region of Madeira and Madeiran Communities”.
