The regional secretary for Equipment and Infrastructures visited, today, the rehabilitation works on the seafront of Madalena do Mar, a work by the Ponta Oeste Development Society, which represents an investment of 374 thousand euros.
Pedro Fino said that the work should be completed before the start of the bathing season. The regional secretary recalls that the investment follows a work already carried out on the Madalena do Mar riverside and that was regularisation and channeling, guaranteeing the security of the area.
An overpass was made to guarantee access to the area. The secretary stated that “the Government’s commitments are to be fulfilled and are, in fact, being fulfilled”. The pontoon that is there will have its metallic structure replaced, as underlined the secretary, who said that there is yet another project planned on the seafront, but this time, on the beach of Alagoa, in Porto da Cruz.
