The easyJet flight from Gatwick managed to land on its 3rd attempt after making two attempts at the runway where it had to abort the landing due to the wind.
It was the third time. The majority of passengers are English tourists and some emigrants who have just arrived in Madeira on the first flight operated by easyjet from London Gatwick airport.
