The Madeira archipelago will be under yellow warning this Friday due to the wind forecast, according to the Portuguese Institute of the Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA).
The warning is valid for the south coast and mountainous regions, blowing up to 80 km/h in the extreme east and west, while in the mountainous regions it will have gusts up to 95 km/h. The notice is valid until 6 pm on the last day of 2021.
The yellow warning is issued by IPMA whenever there is a risk for certain activities depending on the weather situation.
