Traffic is completely stopped in the access tunnel to the Port of Funchal. Apparently this is just transit for the Lobo Marinho ship, and some passengers have already chosen to get out of their cars and walk through the tunnel with their bags.
There are also those who have already made a U-turn, reports a driver.
