The municipality of Calheta is preparing to ‘open doors’ to Christmas this Wednesday, December 6th, with the inauguration of the Christmas lighting and the nativity scene set up next to the ‘Forno da Cal’ garden, in the municipality’s town.
The Christmas spirit will invade the municipality of Calheta from 7:30 pm tomorrow. (Wednesday)
The Christmas illuminations extend throughout the municipality, with emphasis on the centers of the eight parishes, as well as next to the churches where the Christmas carols will take place. Street nativity scenes, one of the greatest Christmas traditions in Calhetas, once again grace all parishes, from Arco to Ponta do Pargo.
