Rui Manuel Rodrigues Mendes, better known as Nando, has been missing since Friday afternoon, in Funchal.
The man, who is around 60 years old, lives in the São Gonçalo Housing Complex, but did not spend the night at home and never heard from him again.
A family member told DIÁRIO that Nando was last seen near the Montanha restaurant, on Rua Conde Carvalhal, and that he refused a ride from a neighbor saying he was going to Cancela to register for Euromilhoes.
Since then he has never been seen again and does not answer his cell phone, which is leaving his family very worried.
Family members have already reported his disappearance to the PSP and are asking anyone who has any information about his whereabouts to contact the police.
On the day of his disappearance, he was wearing black pants and a blue jacket.
