There is a new record in accumulated rainfall ever recorded in 24 hours in Madeira. The heavy and persistent rain recorded in the last hour of today’s morning in Chão do Areeiro raised to 540.1 liters per square meter (mm) the accumulated rainfall recorded since midday on Monday.
