The direct connection flight between Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport (OPO) and Madeira International Airport on the morning of this Friday, December 1st, was cancelled.
The aircraft operated by TAP was scheduled to land on the Santa Catarina runway at 8 am, but ended up diverting to its origin after having been ‘circling’ in the skies of Madeira.
The wind, which was blowing at 64 km/h, caused the flight to be cancelled.
All other flights have so far landed this morning.
