A man was arrested this morning in Porto Santo for alleged attempted murder.
The case occurred on the Margaça farm after a strong argument between neighbors, whose relationship had been very complicated for several years.
This time, the fight took on extreme contours and one of them picked up a spearfishing weapon and tried to hit the individual with whom he had a long dispute.
According to a police source, he was found by the local PSP, still with the weapon in his possession.
The victim, an elderly man, ended up being injured, but the situation could have reached a much more serious situation if it were not for the quick intervention of the PSP.
The situation of violence reached such an extent that the injured man’s vehicle also did not escape the wrath of his neighbor, being badly damaged following violent blows with a stick.
