Calado leaves the presidency of the CMF, Cristina Pedra takes over the position

Pedro Calado, accused in the case of alleged corruption in the Autonomous Region of Madeira, has resigned from his position as mayor of Funchal.

Cristina Pedra, the vice-president until now, assumes the position.

A new councilor enters the scene, Ana Bracamonte, from the ‘Funchal Semper À Frente’ coalition. 

Pedro Calado was elected president of the Funchal municipality in September 2021 by the ‘Funchal Semper à Frente’ coalition.
