PAN wants all projects under investigation in Madeira to be suspended

The PAN spokesperson stated yesterday that the party wants to suspend all projects that are under suspicion, as part of the judicial investigation into suspected corruption, which involves Miguel Albuquerque.

Inês Sousa Real admitted that it would be a pleasure for the party to look at the appointment of a woman for the position of president of the Regional Government, “taking into account that Madeira has never had a woman in the presidency”. She also lamented the lack of representation of women in senior positions.

Speaking to journalists, the PAN leader said it is important that there is a commitment, on the part of whoever takes office, to suspend projects that are under suspicion, since all the facts about them are not yet known.
