The VIII Poncha and Honey Exhibition will take place on the 26th, 27th and 28th (Friday, Saturday and Sunday), at Praceta da Serra de Água, in Ribeira Brava, with the usual food and drink stands.
The entertainment will be provided by regional groups and artists and a national artist, as highlighted by Casa do Povo da Serra de Água, the entity promoting the event. There will also be stand-up comedy and dancing.
In addition to poncha and honey, other products will be added, such as handicrafts and honey derivatives.
According to the organization, the program also includes, on the 24th (Wednesday), a visit to the Madeira Dr. Carlos Dória Zootechnical Station (Porto Moniz), a meeting of Beekeepers from the Autonomous Region of Madeira and three technical lectures covering related subjects with beekeeping and the circular economy.
